Next Come and Sing day
Byrd’s 4 Part mass – also Holst, Bennet and Stanford

 

South Bank Singers are delighted to host a Come and Sing day featuring Byrd’s 4 part mass, Holst – I Love My Love, Bennet – Weep O Mine Eyes and Stanford – The Blue Bird.

 

Date: Saturday 4th October 2025 
Time: 10:15am – 4:45pm with an informal performance at 4pm
Venue: St Chad’s Church, Campleshon Road, York, YO23 1PE

 

The day will be led by South Bank Singers’ Musical Director Carlos Zamora.

Tickets

Advance tickets are £18. Tickets will also be available on the door for £20. Ticket price includes a booklet of the days repertoire for you to keep.

There will be an informal performance of the pieces at 4pm, this is free to attend.
Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There is no dress code, dress comfortably.

 

Venue and facilities
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. Please bring a packed lunch. There is also a Co-op which is a short walk from St Chads where lunch time food can be purchased.
There are toilet facilities within the church.

 

Parking
Free parking is available on Knavesmire Road and also in some places on Campleshon Road.
 

Local buses including the 11 and 26 stop in the South Bank area.
